Women’s Health Care involves the fascial system of the pelvic floor region and is important to treat for almost every woman. This gentle treatment focuses on releasing the restrictions in the pelvic floor and the breasts. Malalignment of the low back and sacrum, weakness in the fascia (connective tissue) of the pelvic floor from vaginal delivery, Cesarean scar tissue, episiotomy and hysterectomy scar tissue, sexual abuse or pelvic fractures can cause spasms and pain. These “tissue issues” can also cause urinary incontinence.
Whether it is helpful in allowing patients to sleep better at night without needing to use the bathroom, or decreasing pain during sexual intercourse, it is important to be treated by a physical therapist that has been specially trained in this important field.

Why I Do This Treatment:
Many people ask me why I have chosen this type of treatment. My answer is, “Why Not?”. When you suffer as my patients suffer, all of us who give treatment in the Health Care and Wellness Industry have been in their position and have needed treatment ourselves. I go to Arizona every year to take new courses, get new certifications in JFB/MFR, and of course to get treated. I am so honored to be able to bring this treatment here to the Gulf Coast, and therefore know and feel what my patients need and expect from me.
