I put some white tiny lights inside my fireplace and listened to the Vienna Boys Choir music and I thought of you. So, I took my computer out and started to write.

You see, each year I enter the Holydays (Holidays) like I’m sliding into Homebase.

The cold days that get dark early remind me that it’s time to slow down and enter the wisdom of November. Why wisdom?

According to Native Americans, the spirit animal for the latter part of November is the owl. The owl represents a deep connection with wisdom and intuitive knowledge.

I’m sharing this with you purposely because long ago I was caught in the anxiety that “I” was creating. The emphasis is on I because “I” saw only things that needed to be done or bought instead of connecting with my inner wisdom that directed me towards peace.

Now, “I” connect with my inner wisdom and intuition which focuses on the simple things that cost nothing but still create peace.

I actually made a video on this for you back in the March Newsletter, Calmness and Peace

It’s Time To Put the Brakes On

You may be saying, “It’s holiday time Jackie! Are you crazy? It’s time to shop and start making everything happen!

This has a lot of truth to it. If you’re a woman the holidays don’t happen unless you’re making them happen.

However….

Personally, I must feel the peace of God/love/Universe in every cell of my body so that I don’t burn out.

Yes, I will decorate and buy some gifts for my immediate family members.

But, sitting with my family and playing a board game, baking cookies, calling my friends to meet me somewhere outdoors or on zoom for a holiday toast, feeding the hungry, and of course being grateful for absolutely everything is the wisdom and peace of November.

Please share this with all your friends and family so we can create moments of peace together.

If you would like to give the gift of peace in a book here is one you might love, The Power of Self Care Self Love: A Physical Therapist’s Guide to Evolving Into Your Higher Self.

Also, If you would like to give someone who has back and neck pain a gift, here is my one-of-a-kind online self-treatment video series: Back and Neck Pain Relief; The Surprising Gut and Pain Connection.

There is already peace within you. Take this moment to take some deep breaths and feel that peace with each slow inhale and exhale. It’s occurring right now if you allow it.

With love and health,

Jackie?
